How do I join a group as a student?

Please follow the steps below to join a group: 

Open People 

In Course Navigation, select the People link. 

View Groups 

To access your User Groups, select the Groups tab [1]. 

You can also access your User Groups through the Options menu. Select the Options icon [2] and select the View User Groups link [3]. 

 Join Group 

Next to the name of an available group, select the Join link. 

Verify Group Sign Up 

A message appears at the top of your browser verifying you signed up for the group. 

If you do not see the option to join a new group, the group might be full (symbolized by a lock sign). Please contact our Program Support team, who can assist you further.
