What does the "Assignment Extension" function do?

The Assignment Extension tab can be used to request an extension on your pending graded assignments.

With the help of this feature, you can request extensions on assignments that could not be completed by the original due date set up on Canvas. You can either set a single due date for multiple assignments at once or opt for separate due dates for each assignment individually.

Depending on the time and duration of your request, the extension may be granted immediately or forwarded to our program support team for review and approval. You will receive a notification confirming whether or not your assignment extension request has been approved.
